Service volontaire européen en Russie | Février – juillet 2019 | ICYE

The European Voluntary Service is an exchange program financed by the Swiss Confederation, which allows young people between 18 and 30 years to do a voluntary service in a non-profit-making project in Europe.

Dates: From February 2019 till July 2019 (6 months).

Project: The Waldorf Kindergarten in Samara. It’s main interest in carrying out its activities is to provide children with a special education, making sure that they can grow up in an environment full of love and where they can express themselves through creativity and, in general, practical experiences.

The Waldorf Kindergarten looks for a responsible volunteer with creative skills and basic Russian knowledge, motivated to work with children. The volunteer will participate in the everyday activities of Waldorf Kindergarten, including:
 Work with children, this may include playing games, toy-making, reading, painting, music, modeling, theatres, etc;
 Assistance in preparation for holidays and festivals;
 Assistance to the staff in everyday work;
 Think up activities for parents (music, needlework, etc.).

Accommodation: The volunteer will live in a host family. The project provides lunches and the  volunteer will receive a food and transport allowance.

The EVS program is financed by the Swiss Agency Movetia. The grant includes: international transport costs, food and accommodation, pocket money, language support, health, accident and liability insurance.
