Ceci est une formation SALTO !

Les formations du réseau SALTO sont financées par le programme jeunesse de mobilité de l’Union Européenne Erasmus+ et de la Suisse Movetia . Les frais de transport, d’hébergement et d’alimentation sont pris en charge. Seule une participation de CHF 80.- est généralement exigée de la part des participant-e-s. La Suisse n’est pas membre du programme Erasmus+ depuis la votation de février 2014 contre l’immigration de masse. Mais les personnes résidant en Suisse peuvent tout de même prendre part à ces formations grâce à un programme transitoire mis en place par la Confédération et géré par Movetia.

AVANT DE POSTULER POUR UNE FORMATION, il est impératif que tu contactes l’équipe de Jeunesse en Action de Movetia pour manifester ton intérêt à participer à la formation en question et demander s’ils sont d’accord de financer tes frais de participation. Si et seulement si la réponse de Movetia est positive tu peux postuler.

Mais quelles sont ces compétences ? Et comment promouvoir leur développement dans l’éducation et la formation ?

YOCOMO – an ETS online course on competence-based development for youth workers

This is a Massive Open Online Course for youth workers willing to explore ways for competence-based development. Anyone can join and learn free of charge at any time.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE

The course is structured into 5 thematic modules:

  • Module 1: Introduction to the course 
  • Module 2: A competence-based approach in international youth work
  • Module 3: The ETS Competence Model for Youth Workers to Work Internationally
  • Module 4: Tools for competence self-assessment. 
  • Module 5: Using the competence model for professional development. 

Each module is structured into 5-6 sessions offering different interactive learning content online, which is uploaded to the Canvas MOOC hosting platform. Participants learn through animated videos, pre-recorded video interviews and some educational texts.    

Each module will require 1-4 hours to complete the activities.                

The first 2 modules will be open from the first week of the course and every week there will be a new module opened.     

FACILITATORS

Laimonas Ragauskas – Laimonas lives in Vilnius, Lithuania and works as a facilitator in the field of non-formal learning and training for various youth work organisations as well as local and European institutions.

Nerijus Kriauciunas – Nerijus lives in Vilnius, Lithuania and works as a freelancer delivering international training activities in the youth work field at local and European levels.

Snežana Bačlija Knoch – Snežana is an educational consultant in non-formal education and youth work field at local and European levels, as well as certified youth worker.

DEADLINE and SELECTION: Please note that although a deadline of 30 June is indicated because of the system of the European Training Calendar, the course is already online and will be so until 30 June 2020. Participants can join in until that time. There is no selection process as such.

This E-learning is for No limit participants from Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme countries , Other countries in the world , Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU and recommended for Youth workers, The target group of the online course are youth workers willing to explore the ways for competence-based development. The course is open for anyone from the world, but we will relate a lot to the European Training Strategy.

Working language(s): English with possibility to contribute translations
